The Modular Executive MBA programme is has three key elements as detailed below:

1.      Pre-Module  Course Preparation

2.      On- Campus Learning Sessions

3.      Post-Module  Learning Activities

Pre Module Course Preparation: The pre-module course preparation refers to time dedicated to learn and brush up key concepts that are necessary to prepare for the on-campus sessions. Essentially, these pre-module sessions involves having a number of online group meetings per course where pre-module cases are analyzed and discussed among class members. These are asynchronous group meetings. Thereafter, each student is required to turn in reports on the analysis of the assigned cases. All class members should log in at their own convenience and participate in the group meetings for the stipulated periods. Assignments should be submitted and records of attendance would be taken by the MEMBA programme manager. Faculty will comment on the contributions made and grade the submitted reports.

On-Campus Learning Sessions:  These are the regular intensive week sessions at the LBS campus. Each three unit course  features 16 sessions  while 1.5 unit courses  features 9 sessions. Case studies and other learning activities are conducted on campus.

Post-Module Learning Activities: Between on-campus modules, there would be two sets of activities to help participants apply the learning points from class sessions to the workplace: online discussion forums and practice based learning activities. Online discussion forums are administered by the faculty. The discussions could be asynchronous or synchronous.

The second activity is the practice based learning activity where faculty  gives practical exercises in each course to the students to help them put the class learning into practice in the work place.
